Photography for “Mâzîden Âtîye Zarâfet: Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun Son Döneminden Cumhuriyet’in İlk Yıllarına Kadın Kıyâfetleri” Exhibition.
Abdülmecit Efendi Köşkü, 2023.
“Mâzîden Âtîye Zarâfet” unfolded as a visual narrative of transformation, tracing the evolution of women’s fashion from the late Ottoman era to the early Republic—where garments became reflections of shifting identities, cultural memory, and modernity in transition. Held at the historic Abdülmecid Efendi Pavilion in Istanbul from October 29, 2023 to March 17, 2024, the exhibition was designed by Umut Durmuş. Supported by Koç Holding and the Vehbi Koç Foundation, and organized by the Sadberk Hanım Museum, the exhibition was honored with the iF DESIGN AWARD in the Cultural Exhibitions category, recognizing its refined spatial design and environmental approach.
